Texas Hold Em'!

Eric hosts an evening at his new abode.

My buddy Eric (Clint's cousin) just picked up a lovely new starter home and decided to have the boys over for an evening of Texas Hold' Em. With Poker sweeping the nation we thought we'd give it a whirl.

So here's Eric's lovely "starter home". ONE SINGLE GUY lives here. Yeah, Eric does
all right I guess!

Before Poker comes meat!

Andy, the master of the BBQ, prepares the grub while we circle like starving sharks.

Down to business. The two rookies, Gio and Ryan, sit at the end of the table and prepare for battle.

Here's our host - and the first guy elimimated from the tournament. Eric's balls are
as big as his house, and unfortunately, he went "all in" very early and got
cleaned out.

Andy has moved out of cooking mode and into "lose my money" mode. Here he's attempting
to bluff his way back into the action, with limited success.

Tim and I had a couple of serious hands - with each other. I took Tim for a large pile of chips and two
hands later he took those chips back, plus interest. I'm eliminated after Ryan, who's bounced second,
shortly after Eric.

Gio, however, is doing just fine. He's continuing to win!

Gio's pile is now several times larger than anyone else's pile. Things are hearing up!

HE'S UNSTOPPABLE! Gio is cleaning the joint out! Who will stand against him?

Oh, Mark will. He's a pro. When the game is over, it's revealed that
he plays at River Rock once a week, for, like, REAL money.
so I don't feel too bad about him talking my money.

However, I did have my revenge - Mark had a few too many drinks and fell asleep on the
couch. I carefully removed his belt and tied it around his ankles, and when he woke
up from his slumber and tried to stand up, he got a bit of a surprise!

HA!
